Behind La Livia
Two years of Sundays.
None of them had ever sold anything online.
Marco was drawing buildings.
Tomás was designing products for other brands.
Olivia was working in food safety.
La Livia existed in evenings, weekends,
and WhatsApp threads at midnight.
They spent two years testing materials,
prototypes and ideas.
For cookware, pure titanium kept coming back as the answer:
no coating, no synthetic cooking surface,
nothing designed to scratch or flake away.
It became the material behind the first LA LIVIA product.
Marco designed the form:
the balance of the handle,
the curve of the pan,
the weight distribution that makes it feel like a professional tool,
not a compromise.
Tomás refined every detail of the experience,
from the texture of the surface to the packaging it arrives in.
Olivia made sure that what touched your food
was exactly what it claimed to be, and nothing else.
But somewhere along the way,
they realised the idea behind La Livia
was bigger than a single pan,
or even a single material.
The real question was simple:
could the things we use every day be made from better materials,
with fewer compromises?
They still have their jobs.
Marco still designs buildings.
Tomás still works with other brands.
Olivia still works in food engineering.
La Livia is something they built on the side,
because they believed it was worth building.
That's not a weakness.
That's the reason it exists at all.
